Children arrive and are welcomed by their key worker. A nutritious breakfast is served, setting a calm and positive tone for the day ahead.
Focused learning through structured play, arts & crafts, story time, phonics and maths activities tailored to each age group's EYFS targets.
A healthy mid-morning snack — usually fresh fruit and milk — to refuel and rehydrate our busy little learners during a short social break.
A freshly prepared, balanced hot meal served in a social dining environment. All menus are nutritionist-approved and cater for dietary requirements.
Younger children rest and nap while older children enjoy quieter activities, outdoor exploration and child-initiated free play with their peers.
The nursery day winds down with a final snack and home time. Our After-School Club runs from 3 pm, collecting children from local schools and providing care until 6 pm.
We are proud to offer government-funded free childcare hours for eligible families — helping more children access the quality care they deserve.
The government funds millions of hours of childcare across England to support working families and give every child the best start.
Eligible 2-year-olds can access up to 15 hours per week of funded childcare. Eligibility is based on family income and other criteria.
All 3 and 4-year-olds are entitled to 15 free hours per week. Working families may also qualify for up to 30 funded hours per week.

Ofsted inspectors assess quality of education, personal development, behaviour and attitudes, and leadership and management. Achieving a "Good" rating across all areas reflects our commitment to delivering exceptional care and learning outcomes for every child.
During the inspection, Ofsted inspectors noted the warm and nurturing relationships between staff and children, the stimulating and well-resourced learning environments, and the strong partnerships with parents and carers. They also commended the leadership team for their clear vision and continuous drive for improvement.

The safety and wellbeing of every child in our care is our absolute highest priority — always.
At Shekinah Glory Day Nursery, we take all of our legal commitments and duties of care extremely seriously — meticulously maintained by members of both parents and staff alike.
We are a fully registered and Ofsted-inspected setting. All our staff hold enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks and receive regular safeguarding, paediatric first aid and child protection training in line with current legislation.
Children are always our first priority. We follow strict safeguarding policies in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) statutory framework. Our designated safeguarding lead ensures all concerns are addressed promptly and appropriately, with robust record-keeping and referral processes in place.
Our robust and independently checked records are available for inspection at any time. We operate an open-door policy for parents and carers who wish to discuss any aspect of their child's care or safety.
Children are served only fresh, wholesome food prepared daily by our qualified cook, following healthy eating guidelines. Nutritional variety is central to every daily menu. Healthy snacks, including fresh fruit and vegetables, are served throughout the day.
